HANDWOVEN ORGANIC COTTON YOGA MATS

A yoga mat is something personal - it is part of your daily personal asana practice - it forms an intimate connection to the earth. For me, I love the feel of connecting through something that has been created from natural sources and made with care and love.

I am thrilled to have discovered Monsoon Blooms, the makers of these HANDWOVEN ORGANIC COTTON YOGA MATS/RUGS, made in India and hand-dyed using traditional Ayurvedic methods. Each end of the mat has a ridged section which forms an area for hands/feet to grip.  Mats are available in 2 colours -

  • Neem (cream) and Grey;

  • Sandalwood (pink) and Grey

  • 15 drops tea tree essential oil

Essential oils

I have personally been using doTERRA for a few years now and have been using it in the studio instead of incense for times when I know I have students with respiratory conditions.

Due to an increasing number of enquiries about the oils I use, I'm now sharing the link to my online store with doTERRA where you can go online and browse for yourself and purchase as and when you want.

The essential oil blend I regularly use in the studio is called 'Breathe' (or 'Easy-air') and have found it very effective if you have a cold to relieving the airways - great to use at night in a diffuser to help sleep.
